It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kirby M. Crooke of Monroe, North Carolina, born in Kannapolis, North Carolina, who passed away on March 23, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Crooke and Mary Crooke of Monroe, NC; his brother Douglas "Lynn" Crooke of Monroe, NC; and his granddaughter Mary "Karsyn" (Egidy). He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Crooke of Monroe, NC; his children, Perry Crooke (Dusty) and Traci (Dennis); his siblings, Janet Turner, Myra Billingsley (Ronnie) and Norman Crooke; his grandchildren, Ashton Davis (Stephen), Logan Crooke, Kirby, Egidy, Riley Crooke (Will Brewer), Kole, Daxton and Annistyn Crooke; and his great grandchildren, Kayden Crooke, Grayson, Gannon, Emerson and Eden Davis. He is also survived by his extended family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, as a way to honor his love and support for his grandchildren, donations can be made in his memory to Karsyn's Kids Foundation.
