He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Gerber and Leona Friedman Gerber. He is survived by: his wife Marty Gerber; his close friend Madeline Joffe; his children, Jessica Gerber, Josh Gerber (Kristen Jordan) and Jennifer Gerber (Josh MacDonald); his grandchildren, Jadon Allen, Josh Gerber, Janelle Gerber and Juniper Joffe; his siblings, Michael Gerber and Gerri Fligel; and his niece Michelle Fligel.
