She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Lee Hayes and Euna "Bright" Fincher Hayes; her husband Billy D. Whitley; her siblings, Clarence Hayes, J. B. Hayes, Jesse Carter, Hazel Aycoth, Louise Tarlton, Aline Hayes, Catha Lee Gusler, Nancy Foard and Jimmie "Jim" Whitley; and her brother-in-law Pete Whitley.
She is survived by: her son David "Alan" Whitley (Karen); her grandchildren, Shannon Turner (Maury), Josh Whitley and Marcus Whitley (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Luke Turner, Reed Turner, Julianne Turner, Ryleigh Whitley, Jayden Whitley and Aria Whitley; and her sister-in-law Sylvia Whitley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
