She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Hale and Henry Hickerson; and her grandson Arnold Anderson. She is survived by: her significant other Ronald Anderson; and her daughters, Nanette Lyle, Kathryn Sweetwater (William), Rhonda Lee (Rodger) and Michelle Herrera (Robert).
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Gordon Funeral Service (1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112). A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at the Monroe City Cemetery.
