She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Curtis Sutherland and Thelma Sue Shepard Sutherland. She is survived by: her children, Robert L. Cassels, Douglas E. Cassels, Daniel M. Cassels and Christine C. Whitaker; and her great-aunt Ruby Miller. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
