He was predeceased by : his parents, Samuel Randolph King and Mary Manus King; his wife Fola Chaney King; and his siblings, Paul King, Lewis King, Jackie King and Doris Daughtery.

He is survived by : his daughter Kathy Arrington (Don) of Unionville; his brother Clarence King; and his stepgrandchildren, Michael Arrington, Keith Arrington and Pam Harris.
