She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoyle Thomas Griffin and Tommie Pressley Griffin; her former husband Jerry Helms (late Ronnie Hilton); her daughter Nancy Gainey; and her sister Ruth Bishop.
She is survived by: her sons, Wayne Helms and Rick Helms (Karen); her grandchildren, Alisha Parker, Natalie Grimaud (Geoffrey), Stacie Boatright (Charles), Jeremy Gainey and Kevin Helms (Amy); and her brother Hoyle Griffin.
