She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Smith and Minnie Nicholson Smith; her son Richard Smith; her siblings, Mozell Smith, Junior Smith, Tim Smith and Catherine Smith; and her grandson Zackery O'Neil Robinson.

She is survived by: her sons, Matthew Smith of Pageland, SC, Reggie Smith (Sheena Chanel) of St. Augustine, FL and Sandy Smith of Pageland, SC.; her grandchildren, Marie Smith and Dominique Smith; her sister Berdell Smith of Pageland, SC; and her nephews, Randy Smith and Andy Smith.
