It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Walters Collins (Monroe, North Carolina), who passed away on August 23, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Walters and Vera Broome Walters; her significant other Roy Wayne Collins; her son Randy Collins; and her brother Morris Walters.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Collins (Marilyn) and Sandra Helms (Edwin); her daughter-in-law Kristi Collins; her sister Linda Adams; and her grandchildren, Daniel Collins, Dillon Collins, Ryan Collins, Collin Helms and Colbi Helms. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family ask memorials be made to the Jehovah-Jireh Project C/O Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 2524 Stack Road, Monroe, NC 28112.
