She was predeceased by: her son Curtis Mangum; her husband Wayne Mangum; her parents, Myrt Morris Shaw and Benjamin Shaw; and her siblings, Jim Shaw, Tommy Helms and Janet Helms Gay Hasty.

She is survived by: her sister Linda Shaw Rives; and her sisters-in-law, Henrietta Mangum, Lenelle Mangum Hamilton and Hazel Mangum. She is also survived by her nephews and nieces.
