We announce the death of Matthew Andrew Nosal of Monroe, North Carolina, who passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 92. Matthew will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Nosal and Frieda Nosal (Daniewicz); and his wife Virginia. He is survived by: his sons, Edward (Alissa), Geoffrey and Andrew Nosal (ChaRissa); and his grandchildren, Stephanie Nosal (Moises), Matthew and Nathaniel.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Novant Hospice or planting a tree in Matthew's memory.
