He is survived by: his daughter Misha Brooks Rushing (Brent); his grandsons, Levi Rushing and Lincoln Rushing; his former wife Susie Brooks; his brothers-in-law, Gene Scott and James Scott; his nieces, Susan Tyson and Pam Crump; and his nephew Jimmy Scott.
