With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norman Ronnie Hood (Monroe, North Carolina), born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on December 21, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey McClure Hood and Mabel Ellington Hood. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Sims Hood; his daughters, Christie K. Hood and Robin Hood Knight (Jeff); his sisters, Margie H. Gable (Gabe) of Cary, NC and Linda H. Herring (Rusty) of Durham, NC; and his pet Suki. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
