She was predeceased by: her parents, James Harkey and Helen Conder Harkey; her husband Keith Johnson; and her brother Dennis Harkey. She is survived by: her son Jordan Johnson (Madison); and her siblings, Steven Harkey, Tim Harkey, Vicki Drake and Myra Norwood.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorials be made to Shiloh Baptist Church, 2301 N. Rocky River Rd. Monroe, NC 28110.
