She was predeceased by: her parents, William Martin Purser and Viola Victoria Baucom Purser; her husbands, Henry Craven "Jack" Baucom and Marvin Smith; and her siblings, Ray Purser, Clay Purser, Billy Martin Purser, Vanessa McMillan and Betty Jo Thomas.
She is survived by: her sons, Donnie Baucom (Jane) and Jackie Carrol Baucom (Louise); and her brother Pliney Purser (Jeanette). She is also survived by five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
