It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy A. Jones (Monroe, North Carolina), who passed away on July 4, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Peggy leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Peggy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Douglas Jones Sr. and Evelyn Sanders Jones. She is survived by: her siblings, Sidney Jack Jones, Gloria Jones Parker (David) of Monroe, NC, Cathy Jones Miller (Herb) of Boone, NC and Penny Jones Godwin (Tommy) of Peachland, NC; and her siblings' children, Chris Miller of Boone, NC, James Parker (Alissa) of Monroe, NC, Brandon Godwin of Charlotte, NC and Angie Beach (Kevin) of Wingate, NC. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
