He was predeceased by: his father Douglas Elliott; and his brother John D. Elliott. He is survived by: his mother Mary Jane Elliott; his wife Angela Shuman Elliott; his daughter Robyn Cross; his stepdaughters, Brittany Platt (Richard), Melissa McIntosh and Sara Stott (Dylan); his brother James Elliott (Mary); his father-in-law James Shuman; his brother-in-law Jim Shuman (AnneMarie); and his grandchildren, Carolina Platt, Annelise Platt, Emeline Platt, Finley Baker, Charlie Cross, Banks Platt, Scarlet Cross, Mila Platt, Briella Platt and Harriet Stott. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Lee Park Church (2491 Morgan Mill Rd, Monroe, NC 28110). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
