He is survived by: his children, Mary Lou Clark (Samuel) of Monroe, NC and Robert Steven Cook of Raleigh, NC; his siblings, Jerry R. Cook of Ohio and Mary Lou Ratliff of Columbus, OH; his grandsons, Samuel Forest Clark and Randall Steele Clark; and his great grandchildren, Olivia Clark and Lawson Clark.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to Hospice Pallative Care, 7845 Little Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28226.

He was named after both of his grandfather's. Robert boyd cook & lonzo steele wilson he was a staff sgt. (e-6) in the 82d airborne div. During the korean war. He was a master blaster, ask any former para. What that is and also a path-finder and jumpmaster. Very well liked by his fellow troopers. Ii love you bob. Jerry”
