He is survived by: his wife Genia Howell Schaffer; his children, Stacey Smith (Jeremy), Darren Howell, Amy Phillips, Daniel Schaffer (Stephanie), Beverly Baucom (Michael) and Brittany Huthsing; his mother-in-law Barbara Howell; and his aunt Patsy Knox (Robert T.). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
