He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Hooks and Dorothy Mae Plummer Hooks. He is survived by: his siblings, Clyde Hooks, Jr. (Linda) of Fort Mill, SC, Tommy Hooks (Pam) of Hickory, NC and Diane Kelly of Monroe, NC. He is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews; and 14 great-nieces and nephews.
