She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred McKinley Miles and Sarah Margaret McCulloch Miles; her husband Robert Eugene Parler, Sr. (Bob); her brothers, Conway Miles and Mack Miles; and her son-in-law Arnold Hill.

She is survived by: her children, Ramona Parler Hill, Butch Parler (Patti), Al Parler (Wanda), Rhett Parler (Shawn) and Anna Parler Dahl (Joey). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren, and one great-great-great grandchild.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service (1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112). Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:45 PM at the Gordon Funeral Service (1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112).
