She was predeceased by: her husband Louis Huntley; her parents, Preston Covington and Minnie Rivers Covington; her grandsons, Kevin Melton, Robbie Blunt and Nick Horne; her siblings, Katie Ledbetter, Bessie Seegars, Eula Timmons, Winnie Covington, Mary C. Sistrunk, Lucille Covington, E. D. Covington and J. D. Covington; and her son-in-law Tony Leak.
She is survived by: her children, James E. Covington (Evelyn) of Wadesboro, NC, Cecil Huntley of Monroe, NC, Jerry Huntley (Cynthia) of Monroe, NC, Louis Huntley (Carolyn) of Monroe, NC, Jimmy Huntley of Monroe, NC, Robert Huntley of Monroe, NC, Gladys Collins of Monroe, NC, Alice Everett of Monroe, NC, Joyce Huntley (Jerry) of Monroe, NC, Sharon Leak of Monroe, NC and Margaret Dillingham of Wingate, NC. She is also survived by 34 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; and other family and friends.
