She was loved and cherished by many people including: husband: Mark Sims; parents: Mitchell Nash and Margaret Manus Nash; brother: Randy Nash (Jean); sister: Dawn York (Greg); stepsons: Ricky Sikes (Denise) and Kirk Sims (Alisha); stepdaughters: Regina McClendon and Evan Sims; grandchildren: Ashley Tarlton (Jeremy), Pamela Hanson, Jarrod Sikes (Amy), Trenton English, Dawson Sims, Paetyn Johnson, and Alita Sims; deceased sister: Vicki Helms; deceased stepson: Rodney Sikes; and 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Mill Creek Baptist Church (5417 Morgan Mill Rd, Unionville, NC 28110). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 2:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
