She was predeceased by: her parents, James Raymond Walden and Beatrice Mollie Clark; and her husband Wesley Clarence Heafner. She is survived by: her sons, Luke Luther Brian Heafner (Allison) and Jonathan Eugene Heafner; and her granddaughters, Kendall Heafner and Kinsley Heafner.
A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at the First Baptist Church of Oak Island (4608 E Oak Island Dr, Oak Island, NC 28465). A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at the Crooked Creek Church (7918 Crooked Creek Church Rd, Monroe, NC 28110).
