Sybil Margaret (McCorkle) Gaddy Obituary
Sybil M. Gaddy, retired IT Assistant Director for Union County and resident of Monroe, NC, went home to the Lord on Thursday, May 21, 2020.
Born September 29, 1948, in Union County, NC; Sybil was the daughter of the late Parks McCorkle and Janie Richardson McCorkle.
Sybil is survived by her husband of 52 years, Donald “Don” Gaddy of Monroe, NC, son Wesley Gaddy and his wife Tiffani Gill Gaddy of Sumter, SC; and three beloved grandchildren – Brittani G. Homeyer and husband Paul of Monroe, NC; Caleb Gaddy and expecting wife Regan of Sumter, SC; and Cameron Gaddy and wife Sarah of Elkin, NC. As well as her sisters Deloria Nesbit and husband Robert, Linda Melton, Libby Creech and husband Larry, Sandy Rorie and husband Albert, Cathy Cato and husband Ronnie, and sister-in-law Peggy Ann Knight and husband Johnny, all from Monroe, NC and numerous extended family.
