She was predeceased by: her father Phillip Smith. She is survived by: her mother Sherry Ashley Kowallek (Tom); her siblings, Chatham Smith (Sylvia), Jonathan Benton, Austin Watts, Kayla Efird, Gretchen Watts and Pamela Strom (Sandra Walden); and her grandmother J. V. Walden (Pawpaw). She is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews.
