With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Jerome Morgan (Monroe, North Carolina), who passed away on November 25, 2023 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas Jerome Morgan to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Jackson Morgan and Etta Williams Morgan; his wife Betty Lathan Morgan; and his siblings, Charles Morgan, Sam Morgan, Pickett Morgan, Louise Richardson, Edna Shaeffer and Ruth Morgan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jane Nixon (Rob) and Anne Williams (Brad); his siblings, Craven Morgan (June), John Morgan (Joyce) and Margie Jordan; his grandchildren, Brandon Williams (Anya), Joanna Nixon (Ben Miller), Alex Williams, Sam Nixon and Addie Nash (Cole); and his great grandchildren, Katya Williams and Leza Williams. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
This continued to be a major highlight of his life up to the coronavirus pandemic and a broken hip in 2020.
