He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette Wildren Hinson and Martha Lee Kiker Hinson; his wife Rhonda Carol Hinson; and his brother Wesley Bryan Hinson. He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie Byrum (Greg) of Monroe, Amy Medlin (Clint) of Monroe, Lisa Greene (Lemuel) of Monroe and Kara Furr (Chris) of Locust; his grandchildren, Jared Byrum (Ashley), Walker Byrum, Will Rounsville, Sarah Rounsville, Savannah Medlin, Elijah Medlin, Logan Greene, Lincoln Greene, Lawson Greene, Colton Furr and Myles Furr; and his sisters, Manie Hinson of Monroe and Annette Greene (Randy) of Mint Hill.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Hopewell Baptist Church (420 Hopewell Church Rd, Monroe, NC 28110). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
