We are sad to announce that on June 8, 2025, at the age of 77, Vicki Myrick Penegar (Monroe, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irving Lee Myrick and Peggy Evelyn Howard. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Joel Lynn Penegar; her children, Stefan Penegar (Amanda), Darla McFall (Robert), Vanessa Medlin (Brian) and Christina Penegar; her siblings, Debbie Joyner, Jami Sinclair (Calvin), Paulette Garrett (Steve) and Jon Luther (Linda); and her grandchildren, Seth, Alexandra, Adeline, Isabella, Samuel, Evelyn, Ava and Bennett.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friends of Bazemore, a non-profit that supports the senior adult center, 500 W. Jefferson St. Monroe, NC 28112.
