He was predeceased by: his parents, William Fred Nichols and Gladys Elliott Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Meredith Nichols; his children, Walter Britt Nichols of Waxhaw and Kelly Reeves (Chris) of York, SC; his sister Teresa Childs (late Jim) of Leeds, AL; his grandchildren, Britney Maston, Abby Maston, Noah Maston, Hannah Hartman (Michael) and Kyle Reeves (Cierra); his great grandchildren, Tyler, Annika, Carter and Silas; and his pets, Belle, Beau, Ronin and River.
