It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Warren Austin Ellis (Monroe, North Carolina), born in Roan Mountain, Tennessee, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Ellis and Hattie Mae Julian Ellis. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Griffin Ellis; his son Jim Ellis (Mary Ellis); and his grandchildren, Mary Anna Ellis, Dan Brooks and Ben Brooks. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Lakeland Memorial Park (1901 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112).
