We are sad to announce that on August 15, 2018, at the age of 89, William B. Starnes (Monroe, North Carolina), born in Lancaster, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Lee Starnes; his sons, William Baxter Starnes and Billy David Starnes; and his brother Robert Starnes. He is survived by: his son Roger Dale Starnes (Ramona); and his grandchildren, Roger Starnes, Cynthia Starnes Reid, Candy Starnes Acosta, Sherry Starnes Snead (Jamie), Anne Starnes, Benny Starnes (Angie) and Julie Starnes King (Jason). He is also survived by great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Union County, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, NC 28112.
