He was predeceased by: his father Ed Horton; and his sister Sadie Marie Williams (Randy L. Powell). He is survived by: his wife Mollie Doreatha Rudd Horton; his children, Adorn Horton Ahmad of Newport News, Arhonda Lynn Powell of Chesapeake and Amy D. Mitchell (Charles Ron) of Charlotte, NC; his brother Robert E. Horton (Carolyn) of Chesapeake Virginia; his granddaughter Tara Lynn Horton; and his godson Darryl Burrus.
