He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harris Hildreth and Sarah Louise Honeycutt Hildreth; his sister Renay "Sissy" Hildreth; and his niece Pam Layfield. He is survived by: his sisters, Debbie Huntley (Kenny) of Wadesboro and Vanessa Moore of Lilesville; and his nieces and nephews, Sandy Layfield of Wadesboro, Gwen Lanning (Hoy) of Mt. Gilead, Lauren Sellers (Tom) of Lilesville, Shannon Maner of Ansonville, Paul Maner (Stephanie) of Ansonville and Adam Maner of Cary.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at 225 Cemetery St, Wadesboro, NC 28170.
