She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Blackwell Spicer and James Spicer. She is survived by: her sons, James Brooks (Shannon) of Mooresboro, Jessie Brooks (Sharon) of Mooresboro and Donnie Brooks (Chasity) of Mooresboro; her sisters, Ruthie Spicer of Mooresboro, Cathy Phillips of Mooresboro and Punnie Wilson of Rutherfordton; and her grandchildren, Jonathon Brooks (Shania), Christopher Hudson (Miranda), Joseph Hudson (Shianne), Kevin Brooks, Alisha Brooks and Trenton Brooks (Sarah). She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
