He was predeceased by: his parents, James Duffin McKeown and Yvonne Ladouceur McKeown; his wife Faye McKeown; his son Shane Dysart; and his brothers, Michael McKeown and Terry McKeown.
He is survived by: his children, Shannon Dysart and Ricky Dysart of Forest City; his siblings, Colleen McKeown of Oshawa, Ontario and Scott McKeown of Barrie, Ontario; and his granddaughters, Amber Dysart, Ariona Liberati and Skyler Dysart.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the High Shoal Baptist Church (284 High Shoals Church Rd, Mooresboro, NC 28114).
