He was predeceased by : his parents, J. L. McMahan and Beatrice Freeman McMahan; his son Donald McMahan, Jr.; and his sister Barbara McMahan Goode. He is survived by : his wife Eula Lancaster McMahan (Pete); his daughters, Judy Lancaster Smith (Calvin) and Kristy Lancaster Carlisle (Shane Carlisle) of Mooresboro; his grandchildren, Jessica Smith Hayes (Kyle Hayes), Mason Smith, Cutler Shaw, Tristan Carlisle and Jetta Shaw; his great grandchild Makynlee Hayes (Mak); and his children, Kim McMahan, Philip McMahan and Tony McMahan.
