He is survived by: his children, Charles Eugene Dukes of Mooresboro, NC, Larry Dukes (Dorothy) of Gaffney, SC, Dennis Mickles of Gaffney, SC, Jewell Dukes of Brooklyn, NY, Dorothy Thompson (Bernard) of Mooresboro, NC and Mae Glover (James) of Mooresboro, NC; and his siblings, Leroy Dukes of Gaffney, SC, Lula Dukes of Shelby, NC., Mae Jeffries of Shelby, NC. and Nadine Dukes of Shelby, NC.. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, extended family members, and many friends.
