He was predeceased by: his parents, Donnis Allen McCurry and Ivo McCurry; his brother Jeffery McCurry; and his stepfather Roy Allen. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Elmo McCurry; his son Jeffery McCurry (Beth); his grandchildren, Keegan Harris, Harper Harris, Auden Moorcroft and Millie Ann Porter; his sisters, Teresa McCurry and Donna Metcalf; and his sister-in-law Jeanie Lucas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home & Crematory (106 Cherryville Rd, Shelby, NC 28150).
