She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Big Jim" Eula Hill and Betty Pearson Hill; her husband Ricky Vickers, Sr.; her son Doug Vickers; and her brother Eddie Hill.

She is survived by: her children, Rachel Griffin (Daniel) of Gulfport, Trilana Vickers of Gastonia, Joshua Vickers of Mooresboro and Matt Vickers (Morgan) of Cherryville; her brother Keith Hill of Rutherfordton; her sister-in-law Deborah Hill of Cliffside; and her grandchildren, Kain Vickers, Abigail Vickers, Riley Vickers, Daniel Griffin, Scarlett Griffin, Molly Griffen, Lilabella Vickers-Greene, Malachi Vickers and Charlie Vickers.

Wanda chose to donate her body to the Fayetteville Technical Community College-Mortuary Science Department for Anatomical Studies.
