He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Eckard and Ethel Moody Eckard; and his siblings, Carroll Eckard, Ann Kuczkawski, Marie Anderson and Patricia Bentley.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Kane Eckard; his stepson Kyle Yudkowsky of Forest City; and his siblings, Thelma Biddix (Grant) of Marion, Connie Spencer of Marion and Edward Eckard of Georgia. He is also survived by his family and four-legged companions.
