It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Audrey Geyer (Mooresville, North Carolina), who passed away on August 27, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Audrey shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Audrey farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Harry Basten and Leona Basten (Wilson); her brother Richard Basten; and her grandson Brian Menor. She is survived by: her husband Donald Geyer; her children, Lynne Kocevar (Frank), Beth Klarner (Todd), Amy Evans (Dave), Steven and Mark Geyer (Cheryl); and her sister-in-law Bonnie Basten. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Therese Catholic Church (217 Brawley School Rd, Mooresville, NC 28117).
