It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dale Bernell Atkinson of Mooresville, North Carolina, born in Sabetha, Kansas, who passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Lloyd Atkinson and Hazel Atkinson (Tobie); and his wife Caroll Atkinson. He is survived by : his brother John Atkinson (Elizabeth); his children, Doug Atkinson (Laura), Lisa Kloss and Laura Ballenger (Scott); his grandchildren, Heather Atkinson, Shannon Kopchinski (Ray), Dillon Krupka and Hayley Atkinson; and his great grandchildren, Nathan Kloss and Kaleb Kerr.
