He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Lee Curlee and Addie Mae Goforth Curlee; his siblings, Bill Curlee, Colleen Johnson and Mary Cashion; and his nephew Kevin Curlee.

He is survived by : his wife Linda; his children, Lisa Brewer (Jim) and Ed Curlee (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Ashlei Pangle and Addison Curlee; his great grandchildren, Emma, Elaina and Emelia; and his brother Rick Curlee (Jane).
