He is survived by: his wife Shelly Gearhart Johns; his children, Lucas Johns (Jenn) and Rachel van Nes (Hubert); his sisters, Linda Bower and Lucy Newman (Wayne); and his grandsons, Mason, Sawyer, Jasper, Jack and Frank. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
