He was predeceased by: his parents, Burley Ross Harrison and Delcie Stanford. He is survived by: his wife Debarah Tait of Salisbury; his daughter Jennifer Harrison of Texas; his grandchildren, Connor Piper of Texas, Alexandria of Concord and Amora Piper of Concord; and his sisters, Janna Harrison Underwood of Mooresville, Vicki Harrison Young of Morehead City, Lillie Williams Marks of Rockwell and Rhonda Williams Sullivan of Rockwell.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Glenwood Memorial Park (273 Glenwood Dr, Mooresville, NC 28115).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Humane Society Of Rowan County, located in Salisbury, NC, to honor Ivan's love for animals and his compassionate spirit.
