With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jack Milton Murdock (Mooresville, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 25, 2024 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jack Milton Murdock to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Coit Murdock and Velma Hartsoe Murdock; his wife Barbara Millsaps Murdock; and his siblings, Betty Jean Murdock, Larry Allen Murdock (Gayle), Katherine M. Brawley (Zeb) and Rachel M. Martin (Frank).

He is survived by : his daughters, Karen Murdock and Kristen Carter (Jesse); his sister Carol M. Sanders; his sister-in-law Gayle Murdock; and his grandchildren, Jesse Carter, Jr. and Kate Carter. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cavin-Cook Funeral Home (494 E Plaza Dr, Mooresville, NC 28115). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Triplett Church. A graveside service was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Triplett Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cavin-Cook Funeral Home and Crematory, P. O. Box 977, Mooresville NC 28115 to help the family with funeral expenses or, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
