She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Junior Rodgers and Sarah Rebecca Martin Rodgers; and her husband Thomas Franklin "Tommy" Barnette. She is survived by: her children, Casey Barnette Meares (Alan) and Robert E. Barnette; her siblings, Robert "Bobby" Rodgers and Becky Bradford; and her grandchildren, Liliah Andrews and Sarah Barnette. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, ensuring that Janet's spirit of giving continues to touch the lives of others.
