She is survived by: her son Jarrett "Denny" Swearengin (Dawn); her siblings, Polly, Joe and Pete (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Jessica Sheley (Mike), Jarret Swearengin (Alisha) and Alexis Swearengin (McKinley); her stepgrandchildren, Steven Jackson (Sirey) and Leigh Randall (Riley); her great grandchildren, Shelby Grace, Wyatt, Willie, Peyton, Forest and Coraline; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Chase, Lilly Grace, Riley, Pierce and Colt.
A memorial service was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Shearer Presbyterian Church (684 Presbyterian Rd, Mooresville, NC 28115).
