It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Joseph Strayer (Mooresville, North Carolina), who passed away on October 12, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Strayer and Arletta Strayer (Carr); and his brother William Strayer (Carol). He is survived by : his wife Marsha Strayer (Carpenter); his children, Melanie Strayer (Steve Schaffer) of Mooresville, NC, Michelle Hribar (Vic) of Bethel Park, PA, Mark Strayer of Fort Meyers, FL and Brian Strayer (Christine) of Flagstaff, AZ.; and also Jerry Strayer. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
